Wild About You

Wild Sounds, car crashes, pep pills, exploding
amps,
bloodied noses, jealous boyfriends, drug busts and
arrests!
All these and more were just regular facts of
life for the average Australian Rhythm and Blues band
of the mid 1960s. Despite these obstacles, or perhaps
because of them, a number of home-grown acts came to
epitomise the down and dirty sound and attitude of
Antipodean Garage Rock, a style that continues to
inspire to this day.
The Wild About You! CD, Book, exhibition and launch
documents and celebrates the music and styles of the
past whilst highlighting the efforts of Melbourne's
latter day garage rockers.
Released in conjunction with Unstable Ape Recordings (UAR035) to
benefit 3CR Community Radio - 855am.
